Krill Oil DY Life, 60 Softgels, 15 Servings

DESCRIPTION

DY Life Krill Oil is a premium marine omega-3 supplement sourced from pure Antarctic krill (Euphausia superba) - small crustaceans harvested from some of the purest and most pristine marine ecosystems on Earth. Each serving delivers 2,000mg of krill oil providing 200mg EPA, 110mg DHA, 800mg of naturally occurring phospholipids and 0.4mg of astaxanthin.
What sets krill oil apart from conventional fish oil is not just its source, but the molecular structure in which it delivers omega-3 fatty acids. In krill oil, EPA and DHA are naturally bound to phospholipids - the same structural molecules that form cell membranes throughout the body - rather than the triglyceride form found in standard fish oil. This structural difference has important implications for how efficiently omega-3s are absorbed and utilised.
DY Life Krill Oil is designed for those who want the clinically supported benefits of omega-3 fatty acids from a premium, highly bioavailable marine source - with the added benefit of naturally occurring astaxanthin, one of nature's most potent antioxidants.

KEY BENEFITS

Heart Health & Lipid Balance

EPA and DHA from krill oil contribute to maintaining normal blood triglyceride levels, support healthy cholesterol balance and promote optimal cardiovascular function. The phospholipid-bound structure of krill oil's omega-3s supports efficient lipid metabolism and vascular health - making it a premium-tier choice for those focused on long-term cardiovascular support.

Cognitive Function & Brain Health

DHA is a primary structural component of brain tissue, where it is found at high concentration in neuronal cell membranes. The phospholipid-bound delivery of DHA in krill oil - alongside the phosphatidylcholine content of its phospholipids - may support particularly efficient delivery of DHA to the brain and other lipid-rich neurological tissues. DHA supports cognitive performance, memory and concentration, while phospholipids maintain neuronal membrane integrity and efficient cellular communication.

Inflammatory Balance & Joint Health

EPA and DHA are involved in the synthesis of lipid mediators - including resolvins and protectins - that actively support the resolution of the inflammatory response. Krill oil's combination of phospholipid-bound omega-3s and astaxanthin provides complementary anti-inflammatory and antioxidant activity. Research supports krill oil as particularly beneficial for joint comfort and mobility, with evidence suggesting it may help reduce joint stiffness and discomfort associated with inflammatory conditions. This makes DY Life Krill Oil a relevant daily supplement for active individuals and those experiencing age-related joint changes.

Skin Health & Cellular Protection

The combination of omega-3 fatty acids and astaxanthin in krill oil provides dual-action support for skin health. EPA and DHA support the integrity and hydration of the skin barrier, while astaxanthin - a potent fat-soluble carotenoid antioxidant - protects skin cells from oxidative damage associated with UV exposure, environmental stressors and free radical activity. Together, they support skin elasticity, cellular renewal and overall skin vitality.

Antioxidant Defence

Astaxanthin is one of the most potent natural antioxidants identified in nutritional science - with antioxidant activity reported to be significantly stronger than vitamin C, vitamin E and beta-carotene on a per-gram basis. In krill oil, astaxanthin serves as both a cellular antioxidant - protecting cell membranes and mitochondria from oxidative damage - and as a natural preservative that protects the omega-3 fatty acids in the formula from oxidative degradation, maintaining potency and freshness throughout the product's shelf life.
